Representatives from Northwest HealthCare, Christian Hospital, BJC HealthCare, Paric Design Build, the City of Florissant and North County Incorporated gathered to break ground for a Northwest HealthCare campus expansion.

A two-story, 40,000-square-foot building will connect to Northwest HealthCare on the northeast area of the campus toward Graham Road to accommodate Esse Health physicians and several BJC Medical Group practices, including some practices located at Graham Medical Center. Construction completion is scheduled for late December 2010.

The NWHC Emergency Department will expand by 6,800 square-feet to provide 13 additional patient care rooms. Construction will begin in May 2010, with completion expected in spring 2011.
